Responsibilities:

  • Process inbound calls and provide exceptional service
  • Collect overdue debts, negotiate payment arrangements, and ensure compliance with client criteria
  • Identify any instances of vulnerability and take appropriate actions
  • Liaise with other departments and field staff as necessary
  • Conduct outbound calls
  • Update system with accurate call notes and complete associated actions
  • Handle account queries and verbal complaints, escalating complex cases to senior staff
  • Follow established collections processes and procedures
  • Assist with any duties as directed by a Team Leader or Manager

Essential (Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications, Experience):

  • Firm and polite telephone manner
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to deal with customers professionally, calmly, and tactfully
  • Strict confidentiality and non-discriminatory work approach
  • Previous call centre experience
