Our client, a leader in manufacturing of electrical distribution equipment, is currently seeking a talented Electrical Development Engineer to join their permanent team.
Within the role of Electrical Development Engineer, you will provide technical support to the engineering and sales team, produce conceptual designs for new products and undertake the development and testing of both new and existing products.
Salary: up to £55,000 pa - depending on skills and experience
No hybrid working
Location: Harlow, Essex
Hours: 8.30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

The Electrical Development Engineer role offers an interesting and varied workload and requires working with BS 7671 and other electrical design principles.
Electrical Development Engineer - responsibilities:
- Providing technical support to internal departments.
- Product research and development.
- Product compliance testing.
- Conceptional design.
- Technical authoring.
Electrical Development Engineer - skills required:
- Electrical Engineering degree or HND / HNC in Electrical Engineering.
- Electrical engineering background within either the Construction or Rail industries (desirable but not essential).
- Good working knowledge of BS7671
- Computer literate and must have good working knowledge of AutoCAD / 3D CAD
- Technically competent while being commercially aware.
- Enjoy problem-solving.
- Strong communicator, both verbal and written.
- Excellent organisational skills, with strong attention to detail.
