What You'll Do:As the Finance Manager, you will oversee all accounting functions, ensuring that the organisation's financial health is robust and transparent. Your role will encompass:

  • Budget Preparation & Financial Forecasting: Prepare budgets and forecasts that align with our strategic goals.
  • Reporting: Generate timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports, collaborating with external accounts for statutory accounts.
  • Financial Strategy: Assist management in shaping financial strategy and decision-making.
  • Cash Flow & Foreign Exchange Management: Maintain optimal cash flow and manage foreign exchange requirements.
  • Credit Control: Ensure customer and supplier accounts are up to date, while implementing effective credit control measures.
  • Order Processing Control: Oversee the order processing system to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

  • Monitoring and posting transactions in Sage, including invoices, credits, and payments.
  • Daily Invoice Discounting uploads and reconciliations for bank and credit card accounts.
  • Month-end routines and journals to ensure accurate reporting.
  • Maintaining supplier approvals and organising payments efficiently.
