We are seeking an experienced General Manager on behalf of our well known client to oversee the operations and ensure the highest standards of service in their establishment.

You will provide overall site leadership for the site ensuring that the facility operates in an efficient and compliant manner which is safe and in line with all of the applicable regulatory requirements.

The role will also accurately coordinate and manage stock, storage, collation and transportation of materials for pharmaceutical manufacturing and medication, and onward transportation to patients homes in accordance with patient SLA’s, Good Manufacturing Practice and Good Distribution Practice.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Deliver a warehousing service that meets all agreed service levels
  • Deliver change activity that automates the operations and drives efficient and performance outcomes
  • Leverage data analytics tools to monitor and communicate KPI’s, including order cycle times, accuracy and product utilisation rates within the transport function ensuring high standards of management, leadership and compliance with transportation regulations, laws, and industry standards
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant industry and health and safety regulations
  • Driving continuous improvement activities to improve operational efficiencies
  • Leading and driving a department where the performance and potential of people is maximised

Experience

  • 5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in a similar regulated industry or operational setting.
  • Warehouse & Logistics Specialist
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Focused on delivering customer needs
  • Efficiently manages time in a fast paced environment
  • Works methodically with attention to detail
  • Able to balance a prioritise multiple demands
