We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimise our warehouse operations in Harlow. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the daily activities of the warehouse, ensuring efficient supply chain processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics.
Day-to-day of the role:- Supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Oversee supply chain activities, ensuring timely delivery of goods and materials.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment.
- Conduct regular training sessions for staff on equipment operation, including forklift usage.
- Ensure that plant rules and policies are adhered to within Warehouse & Production.
- Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in logistics and warehouse operations.
- Proven experience in a warehouse management role or similar position.
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and logistics operations.
- Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail in business processes.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- COSHH would be an advantage.
