Fantastic Pharmacist Manager position available in Harlow with an Independent Community PharmacyWe are looking for a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead and manage a thriving pharmacy in Harlow. As the Pharmacy Manager, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional pharmacy services to the local community. You will oversee daily operations, ensuring that both customers and patients receive the highest standard of care, while also ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements.This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills, a passion for service delivery, and a desire to make a real difference in people's health and well-being.Key DutiesLeadership & Management: Lead and motivate a team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and support staff, ensuring they work efficiently and cohesively to provide excellent service.Customer Service: Ensure the delivery of high-quality customer service, offering expert advice and support to patients on the use of prescription and over-the-counter medications.Clinical Services: Oversee the provision of clinical services such as medication reviews, health checks, and advice on chronic disease management, ensuring they are delivered with the highest levels of care.Compliance & Quality: Ensure the pharmacy adheres to all regulatory and legal requirements, including patient confidentiality, medication safety, and controlled drug management.Stock Management: Manage inventory, ensuring the timely ordering and availability of medications and pharmacy supplies, while maintaining cost-effectiveness.Team Development: Promote continuous learning and development within the team, providing training and mentoring to junior staff members.Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with the local community, fostering trust and loyalty through reliable and responsive services.Business Growth: Help drive the pharmacy's growth by implementing initiatives to increase customer engagement and enhance service offerings.Package and Benefits
  • Monday to Thursday working
  • 4 weeks plus Bank holiday annual leave
  • £25 per hour (open to negotiation)
  • 38 hours per week
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Proven experience in a pharmacy management role, with strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy pharmacy environment, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy regulations, clinical guidelines, and patient safety protocols.
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach with a passion for making a positive impact on community health.
