Regulatory Specialist

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a Regulatory Specialist at a global speciality polymers manufacturer based in Essex. As the Regulatory Specialist you will be responsible for support the organisation in maintaining global regulations and standards. You will also be responsible for identifying potential regulatory risks and ensuring these are addressed effectively.

To be considered for this Regulatory Specialist position you will be degree educated in Chemistry or a related field. You will also have previous experience working with regulatory frameworks and standards – my client will provide full training so having a willingness to learn is essential.

My client is offering hybrid work for this position: 3 days on-site, 2 days from home

Main Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide regulatory compliance support for projects and business operations.
  • Assist in the review and management of compliance-related data and documentation.
  • Identify and communicate potential regulatory changes or risks, ensuring they are addressed effectively.
  • Support continuous process improvements to enhance compliance efficiencies within the organization.
  • Maintain and update internal systems with relevant compliance information, ensuring accurate records are kept.
  • Provide insights into regulatory topics, contributing to informed business decision-making.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Relevant Chemistry degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and standards, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new regulations.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
