Are you a compassionate and dedicated teacher looking to make a difference in the lives of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs?

We are an Ofsted Outstanding school in Harlow seeking a passionate SEMH Teacher to join our supportive team. While experience in SEMH is desirable, it's not essential-we welcome applications from dedicated teachers who are keen to develop their skills in this area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver creative and engaging lessons that cater to the individual needs of students with SEMH and SEN behaviour challenges.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages emotional well-being and academic growth.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and external professionals to support students' holistic development.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies tailored to individual students, promoting a calm and productive classroom.
  • Build strong relationships with students, helping them to develop confidence, resilience, and positive behaviour patterns.

What We're Looking For:

  • A Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience in SEMH or SEN is desirable but not essential-passion and dedication are key!
  • Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit diverse learning needs.
  • A patient, nurturing, and resilient individual who is committed to helping students succeed.
