  • Shift Patterns:
    • Early: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
    • Late: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
    • 1 weekend in 4 and 1 late shift in 3 weeks

About the Role:We are seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our team, supporting young people aged 18-21 who are leaving care or experiencing challenges due to family breakdowns. Your role will involve delivering housing-related support services in collaboration with Nacro housing and property management.

You will work closely with external agencies to achieve successful outcomes for service users, helping them transition to independence. This role may require lone working within the community or service settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial assessments of potential service users, identifying risks and support needs.
  • Maintain regular, professional contact with service users while acting as a positive role model.
  • Perform risk assessments and ensure personal safety during all activities.
  • Foster strong relationships with external agencies to support service users' needs.
  • Address complaints and concerns promptly, challenging antisocial behaviour and reporting risks.

Requirements:

  • Driving: Must be a car driver with a valid driving license, own vehicle, and business insurance.
  • DBS Check: Enhanced (Adults and Children)
