We are seeking a Workshop Assistant to join our clients dedicated team in a family-run, creative industry. This role is ideal for someone looking for an immediate start, following a recent retirement. The position is hands-on, involving heavy lifting and requires driving the company van for deliveries.

Working hours, Monday – Friday, 8.00am – 17.30pm

Day-to-day of the role:

Organise, maintain, and manage equipment, tools, and supplies.

Handle incoming deliveries efficiently and store stock in the designated locations.

Maintain cleanliness in the workshop, ensuring it aligns with health and safety standards.

Provide support in the workshop as needed.

Drive the company van for deliveries, ensuring timely and safe transport of goods.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and be comfortable driving a van.

Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Proactive and able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Commitment to maintaining high safety standards in the workplace.
