An established manufacturer that supply made to measure staircases to an established trade customer base are seeking a surveyor to join their busy team. The role will be field based 3 days a week and in the office supporting with customer service and sales 2 days a week.

The job entails visiting residential refurbishment sites throughout London, Essex and Kent, taking detailed measurements and designing staircases to suit a customer’s requirements on site. Typically you will visit 4-5 sites a day with 30 minute allocated slots.

Working days are Monday to Friday, salary is from £35,000 for someone with carpentry/joinery experience through to £45,000 for someone with specific staircase measuring skills. 22 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays. A company vehicle is provided when travelling to sites along with the relevant measuring kit needed.

  • Able to use computer software, producing sketches by hand
