Carter Murray have partnered with a leading name within the EV Charging space who are looking to grow their technical sales team with an innovative technical sales manager to lead their growing sales division.

This PE backed brand are scaling at pace with the demand for EV charge points at an all-time high. Expanding EV charging infrastructure is now a key focus for the UK government, with over £1bn being invested into local and national EV infrastructure initiatives.

This role requires a combination of technical expertise and strong sales acumen, enabling the manager to effectively communicate the value proposition of products or services to decision-makers at various levels, from technical specialists to senior executives.

Responsibilities:

- Key Account Management & Growth - Manage and grow relationships with clients, developing tailored solutions to meet their EV charging needs. Identify opportunities to expand within existing accounts while maintaining strong client relationships.

- Technical Sales & Consultation - Present EV charging products and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences, addressing operational challenges and aligning solutions with clients' strategic objectives.

-Collaborate with Internal Teams - Work closely with infrastructure and customer support teams to ensure solutions meet client expectations and to resolve any technical challenges that arise.

-Sales Pipeline Management - Manage the sales pipeline, tracking progress and opportunities across multiple key accounts. Use CRM tools to drive account performance and maintain strong engagement with prospects and clients.

-Proposals & Negotiation - Develop detailed proposals and close deals that align with the company's revenue and growth objectives.

-Industry Engagement & Networking - Represent the company at relevant industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to promote the brand, develop new business leads, and strengthen client relationships.

About you:

·Previous experience within and be a subject matter expert of energy charging solution with strong technical acumen.

·Capable of engaging in technical discussions with engineers and decision-makers to present tailored solutions to meet customer needs.

·Strong solution based selling skills.

·Experience working with CPOs to provide technical solutions and support within the energy sectors.
