Our client is looking for a proactive Conveyancing Paralegal to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing property transactions, preparing legal documents, and supporting fee earners with various residential conveyancing matters. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in conveyancing, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to manage a caseload efficiently in a fast-paced environment.You will bring at least 2 years of experience in conveyancing, with a solid understanding of property transactions and legal processes. The ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively within the team, is essential. You’ll manage your caseload effectively, maintaining a high level of attention to detail and ensuring client care standards are upheld. Proficiency in case management systems, along with a solid knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Word, is required.   • Opening and managing files throughout the transaction.
  • Obtaining title deeds, Land Registry titles, and plans.
  • Preparing contract documentation.
  • Obtaining searches and responding to property questionnaires.
  • Reviewing post and addressing any issues.
  • Progressing transactions and keeping all parties updated.
  • Managing sale files from start to finish.
  • Preparing completion statements and finalising transactions.
  • Handling post-completion tasks and closing files.
  • Keeping track of important dates and deadlines.
  • Updating lenders via LMS Stars and Lender Exchange Portals.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, solicitors, and other parties.
  • Closing files and managing residual balances.
  • Ensuring client details are accurate and up to date.
  • Scanning and copying documents as required.
  • Using the Case Management System effectively.
  • Utilising the Land Registry Portal, SDLT, Word, Outlook, and other software.
  • Providing support to fee earners in the department as needed.
