Sewell Wallis are delighted to be partnering with a Harrogate, North Yorkshire, based business who are looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant into their Head Office team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Management Accountant to work for a growing organisation who are a leader in their field, with locations across the UK.Ideally you will be a PQ Accountant / AAT / ACCA / CIMA and working closely with the Senior Management Accountant this is a broad and varied role.

What will you be doing?

  • Assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Producing and posting journals
  • Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
  • Supporting with posting and reconciling of month end sales recharges
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Producing monthly financial packs
  • Dealing with account queries
  • The Assistant Management Accountant will also perform Ad-Hoc project work

What skills do we need?

  • PQ Accountant with 2-3 years experience in a Finance role
  • Excellent IT and analytical skills
  • Solid communication skills
  • Ability to multi task and work on a number of projects
