Sewell Wallis are partnering with a great organisation based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, who are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to join their team. Our client also have offices based in Leeds which can be used on the days required to be in the office, if more convenient. (2-3 days a week).

As the Senior Financial Accountant you will become the main contact for any financial technical accounting queries, whilst supporting the Financial Controller with acquisition integration work.
What will you be doing?
- As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will provide day-to-day technical support across the Group
- Play a key role in acquisition accounting and supporting to integrate divisional companies into the Group
- Develop and implement accounting processes and controls across the finance function
- Produce the statutory accounts for all Group entities
- Perform full monthly balance sheet reviews
- Support external audit and respond to audit queries
- Produce the monthly consolidation and Board Pack
- Support with ad hoc projects as and when required
What skills are we looking for?
- ACA/ACCA qualified, having trained in a recognisable accountancy firm
- Experience working within a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of UKGAAP
- A proactive worker who uses their own initiative
