Sewell Wallis is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-established business based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, on a temporary basis.

The role has arisen due to the business going through a busy period, and the successful candidate will join a friendly and supportive team.The Accounts Assistant will be providing support to the finance team, assisting mainly with the purchase ledger function.

What will you be doing?

  • Sorting and sending outgoing Accounts Payable invoices.
  • Dealing with Accounts Payable queries.
  • Dealing with customer statements and remittances by post and email.
  • Completing and managing ongoing query spreadsheets.
  • Processing credit card transactions.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Have prior experience in a similar Accounts Assistant role.
  • Have strong Excel skills.
  • Have strong IT skills or the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
