you'll create delicious, nutritious meals, plan food menus, and ensure cost-effective, high-quality dishes. You'll collaborate with kitchen staff and other chefs to deliver exceptional food.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of meals from a set menu, considering dietary needs and preferences.

  • Perform practical duties related to meal preparation using powered equipment and manual handling techniques.

  • Instruct and supervise co-workers in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation.

  • Monitor and maintain hygiene practices, ensuring compliance with HACCP and Infection Prevention & Control standards.

  • Inspect and manage stock to meet established standards and policy.

  • Maintain a professional and hygienic appearance.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Food Safety Certificates

  • Valid HACCP Certificate

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience

  • Awareness of manual handling techniques and COSHH regulations
