Breakdown Customer Care, Sales & Renewals Handler

The Role:We have an exciting opportunity for a Breakdown Customer Care/Sales and Renewals Handler to join our team who will provide an efficient and professional service to our clients by offering the highest levels of Customer service whilst carrying out day to day administration ensuring tasks are carried out accurately and efficiently within the agreed timescales.The role is full time working Monday - Friday 9am to 5.30pm working on a hybrid basis once trained.At Jigsaw, part of the PIB Group we work hard to ensure our culture is collaborative, social, energetic and fun, providing the best possible environment for creativity and enjoyment when working from the office. Responsibilities:

  • To be able to competently advise clients giving clear guidance and explanations
  • To provide a friendly and helpful service displaying your passion for customer service
  • To be able to work under pressure
  • To be able to adapt to new processes and procedures set by the business and advise of any appropriate action required
  • To process mid-term adjustments and cancellations on existing policies
  • Collect payments for amendments or missed direct debit payments
  • To solve customer queries throughout the life of their policy
  • To demonstrate high levels of communication, organisation, thoroughness and time management in order to clear day to day workloads efficiently and correctly.
  • To provide assistance on a surge basis to our Breakdown Claims Advisors by answering calls and arranging the relevant level of service on a case by case basis.
  • Provide training and coaching when required
  • Quoting and closing new business enquiries
  • Building and maintaining long standing client relationships
  • Retaining existing clients at renewal
  • Identifying opportunities to upsell additional products, which may suit a particular customer, needs
  • Working towards individual targets

Experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Excellent customer service skills – the ability to empathise and successfully deal with difficult customers
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • PC literate. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
