NextGen Teachers are currently recruiting for an experienced SEMH Teacher who has a passion for working with pupils with additional needs. This provision caters for pupils with Social and Emotional Mental health needs who may also have additonal needs inclusing: Autism, ADHD and Learning difficulties. This school is based in Harrogate and requires candidates to hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle due to limited public transport access.

The school is looking for passionate and enthusiastic Qualified Teacher with a background or passion in working with students with Special Needs or Mental Health needs who is seeking a new full-time position.

This school caters for pupils from 7-16 years and the position is based working across Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.

We are seeking a candidate who has a real passion and drive to support students with additional needs and who is motivated to make a difference.

Successful applications will have:

Fully Qualified Teacher with both ECT years completed
A passion and interest in teaching pupils with SEMH / SEN
Strong Behaviour management
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to complete one)
Full-time availability
2x professional references
Right to work in the UK
