Marks Sattin are currently working with a Harrogate PE backed business for the role of Payroll Manager. The organisation is constantly growing and are looking for an experienced candidate with experience working within a highly acquisitive business. The Payroll Manager will manage a team of 3, while offering Payroll expertise to the team and the wider business of around 1500 employees which will continue to increase.
In return, the company will pay up to £55,000 on a full-time basis. Upon completing of training, hybrid working will be on offer (2 days working from home per week). Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Preparation and input of payroll data to include the creation of employee records on the HR/Payroll systems and new employee posts/job titles when required
- Minimum wage checks
- Payroll checking and reconciling
- Pensions administration and assessments in line with auto-enrolment
- Production and distribution of payslips, P45s & P60s
- Production and distribution of payroll reports
- Assisting staff with pay related queries
- Updating employees allocated vehicle records and submitting P46(car) changes to HMRC
- Benefits administration - maintaining membership lists for various company benefits
- Assisting with annual P11D and PSA reporting
- Payroll statistics as may be required by the Office of National Statistics
- Any other task as assigned by the Group Payroll Manager or Group Financial Controller
