Our prestigious client, a leading PLC housing developer with an exceptional national portfolio, is seeking a highly skilled Cladding Quantity Surveyor to join their technically advanced construction team in the North of England.

Role Specification

The successful candidate will be a technically proficient quantity surveyor specialising in cladding and external envelope solutions, responsible for precise cost management, technical quantification, and commercial optimization of complex residential development projects.

Key Responsibilities

Technical and commercial leadership will encompass comprehensive cladding cost management, detailed quantity surveying, and precise financial control of external envelope specifications. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional skill in measuring, pricing, and managing cladding packages, conducting detailed technical assessments, and providing critical commercial insights across residential development projects. You will be instrumental in delivering cost-effective, compliant, and technically sophisticated cladding solutions.

Professional Requirements

We are seeking an experienced quantity surveyor with a minimum of three to five years' specific experience in cladding and external envelope quantification. A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field is essential, complemented by advanced technical knowledge of cladding systems, building regulations, and post-Grenfell compliance requirements. Exceptional analytical skills, technical precision, and a deep understanding of construction cost management are critical.

Technical Competencies

The successful candidate must demonstrate advanced proficiency in quantity surveying software, detailed measurement techniques, and comprehensive cost analysis. In-depth understanding of modern cladding technologies, building performance specifications, and current regulatory frameworks will be crucial to success in this role.
