About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and committed Teacher of English to join our secondary school in Harrogate. This is a full-time position starting ASAP. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering an engaging and challenging English curriculum to students at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. Position Details
- Location: Harrogate
- Contract: Full-time role
- Pay Rate: £150 - £223 per day (UPS rates will be considered)
Essential Requirements
- QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Proven track record of raising student attainment in English.
- An Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

- Provide extra-curricular opportunities related to English, such as debate clubs or writing workshops.
- Monitor and address any safeguarding concerns in line with school policies.
