SEND Teaching Assistants - PRIMARY SCHOOLS IN HARROGATE AND SURROUNDING

Full-time, 5 days per week (8:30 AM - 3:30 PM)

  • 1:1 Support Roles
  • Intervention Roles
  • Behaviour Support Roles

Age Range: Early Years to Key Stage 2

Salary: £85 - £100 per day (depending upon experience)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated support to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs), ADHD, and ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).
  • Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored interventions.
  • Foster a nurturing and caring environment for all students.
  • Build strong rapport with children and their parents to support the students' educational and emotional needs.

Requirements:

  • Experience in working with children with SEND.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to connect easily with children and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude.
