REED Practice are seeking a dedicated Semi Senior Accountant with 3 years of experience in practice to join our client . This role involves working closely with a diverse range of clients in sectors such as retail and property, managing accounts from start to finalisation. The ideal candidate will be part-qualified or fully qualified and familiar with CCH software for accounting and tax purposes.
Day to day of the role:
- Managing a portfolio of clients with turnovers up to £1 million, ensuring all accounting needs are met efficiently.
- Preparing financial statements from start to finalisation for clients
- Handling VAT returns and maintaining accurate records using Excel and SAGE.
- Collaborating with a close-knit team to deliver exceptional service.
- Utilising CCH software for accounting and tax to streamline processes and enhance reporting accuracy.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience within an accountancy practice.
- Part-qualified or fully qualified in a relevant accounting qualification.
- Proficient in the use of CCH software for accounting and tax purposes.
- Strong knowledge of VAT processes and experience with Excel and SAGE.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to high standards of work.
