The Role

As Head of Art and Design, you will:

  • Lead and manage the Art and Design department, driving excellence in teaching and learning.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will:

  • Be an exceptional practitioner with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a proven track record of success in teaching Art and Design.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills, with experience of managing or mentoring colleagues.
  • Have a deep passion for art and design, with the ability to inspire and engage students across all key stages.
  • Be skilled in curriculum design and have a clear vision for developing the department further.
  • Be committed to promoting inclusion and equality in the classroom.
  • Have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to balance strategic leadership with day-to-day management.
