We’re currently looking for an enthusiastic School HR Administrator/Officer to work full-time in a secondary school in Harrow. Our team has built an excellent reputation in the local area, and we’re looking for more high-quality office staff to work with these schools.About the role:The working hours for this role are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm (start/finish times can be negotiated), term-time only.

As the HR Administrator/Officer you will be working as part of a close-knit team that works hard together to ensure the smooth running of the entire school.

  • To be responsible for all administrative duties within the HR department
  • Work with Head of HR to administer DBS records for all staff and volunteers, reminding staff that checks are due, carrying out Update Service checks as appropriate and checking and verifying supporting documents and maintaining the Single Central Record.
  • Providing in-house training and workshops to assist others in understanding HR requirements where appropriate;
  • Providing support and advice efficiently and effectively in all areas of Human Resources (HR) including but not limited to the areas of recruitment and selection, learning and development, performance management and reviews, grievances and dispute resolution and change management, consistent with legislation and Trust’s approved policies.

The ideal applicant will have:

  • Experience of working in a school
  • Experience working within HR
  • CIPD level 3 qualified
  • Experience utilising SIMS (School Information Management System) within an administrative role.
