In this hybrid role, you'll have the flexibility to work from home and the office, while also conducting onsite visits across the borough.

What Youll Do:

Manage Planning Applications: Review, process, and assess planning applications in line with local and national guidelines.
Conduct Site Visits: Evaluate planning proposals firsthand and engage with stakeholders such as developers and residents.
Provide Expert Advice: Offer professional planning guidance to internal teams, external clients, and decision-makers.
Prepare Reports: Compile clear, concise reports and make recommendations on planning matters.
Contribute to Sustainable Growth: Ensure all decisions align with Harrow Councils vision for long-term, sustainable development.

What Youll Need:

RTPI-accredited degree (evidence required)
Valid driving licence (DVLA check required)
Experience in planning, development control, or a related field is preferred
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Willingness to drive a council vehicle for site visits
