Biology Teacher
We are currently partnered with a Mixed Secondary School based in Harrow, North West London who are actively seeking a Biology Teacher to join them on a Long Term Supply basis, ideally for the minimum of one term, but will consider half a term.
The school have embarked on a pursuit of excellence and are committed to the lives of young people within their community around Harrow. They have achieved an "Outstanding" rating from Ofsted and are keen to retain this rating by hiring Teachers who closely align with their values and ethos.
This role would ideally suit a Biology Teacher based in London and within a commutable distance to the Harrow area, who is actively seeking a new challenge!
The successful candidate will:
- Deliver interactive and engaging biology lessons that cover a diverse range of learning styles and are inclusive to all abilities.
* Plan and implement creative and innovative teaching strategies to inspire students' curiosity and critical thinking.
* Foster a positive classroom environment that is conducive to learning and academic excellence.
This role will require:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Biology Teacher, teaching to secondary school students in the UK
- Comprehensive knowledge of the UK curriculum
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commutable to Harrow
