We are excited to present an opportunity for a SEND Teaching Assistant in Harrow, North London. SEND Teaching Assistant | About the role:
- Contract Type: Contract lasting until July 2025
- Pay: £96.16 per day, inclusive of holiday pay
- Location: Well-connected, with excellent travel links to throughout the borough
- Opportunities for teacher training next year for a SEND Teaching Assistant are available from next year
- A SEND Teaching Assistant will work sociable hours from Monday to Friday, 7:45 AM to 3 PM
- A welcoming and collaborative staff team dedicated to SEND education
- Support students with special educational needs, developing and supporting their academic and social development
- Assist teachers in implementing EHCPs tailored for SEND students
- Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Monitor and assess the progress of SEND students, providing feedback to both students and teachers as a SEND Teaching Assistant
- Work closely with external specialists to provide comprehensive support for SEND students
- A First Class BSc or BA or higher qualification is mandatory for a SEND Teaching Assistant
- Relevant child-centred experience, particularly with SEND education would be beneficial
- Living in or around Harrow to ensure easy access to the school would strengthen any applications to be a SEND Teaching Assistant
