- Full, clear driving licence

- Flexibility to work varying hours each week due to a rolling rota, including weekends
- Notify the Helpline Operator as soon as possible about any emergency repairs needed within non-council premises observed during visits.
- Report back to the Helpline as soon as possible with full details of any alarm calls received from residents in the Borough's housing stock and notify the Maintenance Division of any defects observed during emergency and routine calls.
- Maintain accurate records of all actions taken and complete the necessary documentation, including support plans when covering for resident wardens.
- Upon arriving at the call location, the post holder is expected to gain access, provide or summon necessary help (including physical assistance if appropriate), and contact relatives, friends, colleagues, and emergency services as needed. The Helpline Service should be informed of the arrival, and once the call is resolved, the post holder must inform the Helpline that they are available for further call-outs.
- The post holder will be based at the Helpline office but may need to work from other appropriate locations within Harrow.
- The successful candidate must have a current driving licence and must attend emergency locations promptly when on duty.
