- Drive the successful delivery of the Local Plan, including associated Area Action Plans and Supplementary Planning Documents.
- Ensure meaningful engagement with council divisions, elected members, statutory/non-statutory bodies, developers, and public stakeholders.
- Manage research and policy development projects, including overseeing consultants.
- Collaborate with cross-council teams to align with corporate objectives, focusing on infrastructure funding and delivery.
- Provide expert planning policy advice and deputize for the Planning Policy Manager.
- Lead and mentor a team of planners and senior planners.
- Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Planning qualifications and relevant planning policy experience, ideally within a London context.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing projects and teams.
- Competitive pay rate: £45-£55 per hour (negotiable)
