An exciting opportunity for a high calibre and enthusiastic Science teacher to join a strong and successful Science Faculty.  Applications from both experienced and Early Careers Teachers (ECTs) would be warmly welcomed. The school-based programme for ECTs includes, where possible, a paid three-week intensive initial induction in July. The two year induction programme includes support from both a subject and induction mentor throughout. ECTs have an opportunity to network both in school and during training delivered by our Induction Partner. We also offer a teacher development programme for our teacher’s in their third year of teaching

Person Specification:
•    Qualified Teacher with DfE number or evidence of successful completion of current course
•    Good knowledge and understanding of the Science curriculum
•    Excellent subject knowledge
•    Ability to deliver high quality teaching and learning in Science across the age and ability range
•    Ability to raise standards of attainment and aspiration
•    Good classroom management and commitment to positive behaviour management
•    An understanding of the use of ICT in Science teaching and learning and a willingness to develop its use
•    Successful teaching experience/teaching practice
