We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive SEN school in Ealing. This is a full-time, temporary position covering maternity leave, starting ASAP. The role involves working with primary-aged students, providing them with the education and care they need.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Plan, prepare and deliver lesson plans that meet the individual needs of students with SEN.
  • Create a safe, stimulating and supportive learning environment.
  • Regularly assess and record students’ progress and adapt teaching methods to suit their needs.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as teaching assistants and therapists, to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child’s progress and any concerns.
  • Attend and contribute to school meetings and training sessions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience working with SEN students is essential.
  • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and SEN strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a classroom and deal with challenging behaviour.
  • Patience, empathy and a dedication to teaching and supporting children with additional needs.
