The Role:The ABA Tutor will work closely with students using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) strategies to support their learning, behaviour, and social development. This role is pivotal in helping students develop essential life skills, independence, and confidence. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, the ABA Tutor will play a key role in creating a structured, positive, and nurturing environment for students.
Key Responsibilities:

Implement ABA-based interventions to support students' learning and behaviour.

Work one-on-one or in small groups to develop social, emotional, and academic skills.

Use data-driven methods to track progress and adjust interventions as needed.

Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to provide a holistic approach to student development.

Person Specification:

Experience working with students with SEMH needs or in an Alternative Provision is desirable.

Knowledge of ABA principles and strategies (formal training preferred but not essential).

Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build trusting relationships.
