Contek Recruitment are currently workingwith a reputable precision engineering company, located inCambridge. Due to continued success and growth, we they are now looking for a skilledCNC Turnerto join the team on afull-time, permanentbasis.
ABOUT THE COMPANY:Founded in 2001, the company specialises in delivering precision machining and sub-contract machining solutions into a range of industries, including Medical, Optical, Marine, Aerospace, Pharmaceutical, and Scientific.
PAY:18.00 - 19.00per hour (Depending on experience) - Yearly bonus paid twice per year (June & December).
WORKING HOURS:Monday to Friday (08:00 AM until 16:30 PM) (40 hours per week) - Flexible hours for the right person.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Producing precision components for the Medical, Aerospace, Optical, and Marine industries a range of Doosan Puma and Doosan Lynx CNC lathes.
- Programming using Fanuc controls.
- Meeting work deadlines and following 5S standards.
- Self-inspection using both manual and digital measuring equipment.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Previous experience within multi-axis CNC turning is required.
- Previous experience programming using Fanuc controls is required.
- A committed and driven approach to work.

- To have a hardworking approach towards daily requirements.
- To be able to work unsupervised.
