Our client, a renowned company in the water sector, is seeking a dedicated Submersible Pump Engineer to join their team in Harthill. This permanent role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with mechanical and electrical skills, ensuring the maintenance and servicing of submersible pumps and related equipment within a region.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Reducing backlogs of non-RFH equipment at depots, either on-site or transported to the home depot
  • Undertaking major repairs and refurbishments
  • Assisting in ensuring servicing is up to date on site and at depot
  • Diagnosing faults and maintaining various submersible pumps, control panels, cables, and generators
  • Ensuring best safe working practices are adhered to at all times
  • Keeping workshop and vehicle organised, clean, and tidy
  • Completing all necessary documentation, including test certificates and associated paperwork
  • Abiding by customer Health & Safety rules when on site


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in servicing and maintaining pumps, hoses, and generators is essential
  • Relevant electrical qualifications, preferably 18th edition / City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395, with knowledge of Test & Inspection
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills
  • Valid driving licence is required
  • Flexible attitude to accommodate the changing needs of the region
  • Above average fitting ability and problem-solving skills
