Job Description:

  • Promoting and maintaining health and safety requirements, ensuring compliance across all activities and processes.
  • Ensuring the safe and effective operation of employees, equipment, and facilities, adhering to H&S and employment legislation.
  • Delivering comprehensive training to all employees under your supervision, particularly regarding safety systems and safe working methods, with audit-ready evidence of training maintained.
  • Meeting SPS targets and leading the completion of Tier 1 meeting agendas as required.
  • Driving waste reduction efforts to achieve departmental annual targets.
  • Ensuring the delivery of weekly net production targets within your area of responsibility.
  • Conducting weekly safety audits and addressing any identified risks or improvements.
  • Encouraging a culture of working with pace and accuracy while continuously improving team performance and processes.

Skills & Experience:

  • Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with team members and stakeholders.
  • Competent with Microsoft Office applications and familiar with working on computer-based systems.
  • A collaborative individual who thrives in a team environment and promotes a positive, cooperative culture.
  • Highly motivated and committed, with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Calm and focused when working under tight deadlines, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
