Role Overview

As a Payroller, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our payroll operations. You will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing of employee payrolls for a range of different sized clients.


Responsibilities:

Process end-to-end weekly and monthly payrolls using Brightpay software.

Calculate and process statutory deductions (PAYE, National Insurance, pension contributions).

Investigate and resolve any payroll discrepancies.

Collaborate with the Service Delivery Manager to improve payroll processes.

Maintain compliance with payroll regulations and our internal policies and processes.

Essential abilities for this role:

At least 2 years experience working within a payroll bureau or accountancy practice at supervisor level.

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel

Deep understanding of UK payroll regulations.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to manage and prioritize workload effectively.

Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and team members.

Desirable abilities for this role:

Experience using CCH Central (particularly CCH Document Management and CCH OneClick).

Experience using Generative-AI tools.
