Zenith People are looking to recruit an experienced Senior B2B Marketing Executive to work at its client site in Hartlepool, joining a dynamic marketing team responsible for managing all B2B marketing activities and initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and revenue in the B2B sector.

The B2B Senior Marketing Executive will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product and content, to create compelling marketing campaigns, generate high-quality leads, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. This is a strategic and hands-on role that requires a deep understanding of B2B sales and marketing tactics, industry trends and customer behaviour.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive B2B marketing strategies to generate leads, drive customer acquisition, and increase brand awareness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, product, and content, to align marketing activities with business objectives and support sales pipeline growth.
  • Maintain market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for differentiation.
  • Create compelling physical and digital marketing content, including website and email copy, case studies, presentations, and sales collateral, to engage, educate and convert B2B prospects to customers.
  • Manage and optimise marketing campaigns across multiple above and below the line channels, such as email marketing, social media, search engine marketing (SEM), content marketing, and industry events.
  • Monitor and analyse campaign performance metrics, produce and present reports, and provide actionable insights to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop impactful visual assets, ensuring consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Achieving sales and marketing targets and manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and maximum ROI.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive innovation and maintain a competitive edge.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven work experience in a B2B Marketing role is essential A degree or relevant qualification in B2B Marketing is desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of B2B marketing strategies, tactics, and best practices. Experience with lead generation, lead nurturing, and marketing automation tools (e.g. CRM, email marketing platforms).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling marketing content and deliver impactful presentations.
  • Proficiency in traditional and digital marketing channels, including email marketing, social media, SEO/SEM, content marketing, and website management.
  • Familiarity with marketing analytics tools and platforms for tracking and reporting campaign performance (e.g., Google Analytics, marketing automation platforms).
  • Demonstrable project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, senior management, and external stakeholders.
