Supply Chain Planning Manager (12 month FTC)

Major Talent is partnered with a global player within the flavours and fragrance industry who have facilities throughout North America, Asia, and the UK. We are looking to speak with candidates for a Supply Chain Planning Manager opening

This is a 12 month fixed term contract

As a Supply Chain Planning Manager, you will be responsible for site sales & operations planning, OTIF improvement and inventory management

Responsibilities as a Supply Chain Planning Manager

  • Participate in daily site meetings to represent the site Supply Chain.
  • Lead daily order book review meeting to mitigate risks to OTIF.
  • Lead weekly supply review meeting to fix production plans for the following week(s).
  • Lead monthly S&OP meeting.
  • Lead monthly inventory control meeting.
  • Lead weekly OTIF improvement meeting.
  • Plan internal supply from other sites
  • Support testing and training for system upgrade.

Skills required to be a Supply Chain Planning Manager

  • Strong experience of using ERP MPS / MRP systems, preferably ORACLE.
  • Strong background in Supply Chain planning, particularly production planning and S&OP.
  • Proven capability to deliver sustainable improvements in OTIF, optimizing inventory levels and material flow.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
