Our client, a global leader in renewable energy, is seeking a Stores Operative to join their Service team at the Galloper Operations & Maintenance Facility based in Harwich, Essex. As the Stores Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient management of stocks and meeting customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage stock movements and maintain accurate records
  • Pack tools and parts, ensuring compliance with export and container packing documentation
  • Conduct inventory counting and audits to ensure accuracy
  • Coordinate logistics solutions to deliver outstanding service to internal and external customers
  • Produce import and export paperwork in accordance with site procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in warehousing/logistics is preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Forklift licence is desirable
  • Valid driving licence is advantageous due to shift patterns
