Job Title: MIG Welder (12-Week Temp to Perm)
Location: Doncaster
Active Personnel is currently recruiting for two MIG Welder positions for our client based in Doncaster on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable company with competitive pay rates and stable working hours.
Package:
- Days: £16.91 per hour
- Nights: £22.54 per hour
- Free on-site parking
Hours of Work:
Days:
- Monday – Thursday: 06:00 – 14:30
- Friday: 06:00 – 13:00
Nights:
- Monday – Wednesday: 18:00 – 04:30
- Thursday: 16:00 – 01:00
The Role:
- Perform MIG welding to high-quality standards.
- Work with a variety of materials, ensuring welds meet production specifications.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Inspect and test welds to ensure quality and durability.
- Maintain and clean welding equipment.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
- Collaborate with the team to meet production targets.
The Candidate:
- Proven experience as a MIG Welder (minimum 2 years preferred).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to work either day or night shifts as required.
- Awareness of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
