We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Senior Art Teacher, with experience of teaching art to children with Autism. Our dedicated team at a school renowned for supporting students with special educational needs (SEN). This role is perfect for a professional experienced in adapting teaching materials and strategies to meet the individual needs of children with a range of disabilities.
Day-to-day of the role:- Plan and lead the ArtĀ curriculum lessons tailored to the diverse abilities of students.
- Assess student progress and adapt lessons to support their physical and social-emotional growth.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Engage with students to foster a love for learning and healthy living.
- Proven experience working with SEN children.
- Relevant qualifications in education or related fields.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to suit the needs of individual students.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
