Reed Recruitment is delighted to partner with a leading manufacturing company to recruit for Production Operatives at their Castleham Site in Hastings. This is a full-time, permanent position requiring flexibility to work on a rotational shift pattern, covering hours from early morning to late night.
Day-to-day of the role:- Pick, assemble, and pack all manufactured products according to scheduled requirements and company policies.
- Monitor machine operations, identify any operational issues, and take timely actions to address them, involving skilled personnel for quick resolutions.
- Maintain accurate records and systems, monitor equipment and process performance, and keep detailed records of output and productivity.
- Conduct accurate monitoring, tests, and checks to ensure output meets all quality standards and specifications.
- Perform assembly work within the assembly operation as required.
- Maintain high levels of housekeeping across your work area to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve and deliver business aims and objectives.
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing factory environment; assembly experience is advantageous.
- IT literacy.
- Proven ability to accurately monitor and record quality and output data.
- Experience working within processes and the ability to adhere to and improve quality management procedures.
- 25 days holiday per year plus your birthday off and bank holidays.
