We are looking for a Transport Service Manager to manage a busy division of the Company. To carry out all recruitment services and working closely with our clients. We are looking for a person who comes from a transport or logistics background and has experience in managing staff and scheduling.
Main Duties
- Managing the candidate process from initial inquiry through to placement
- Managing temporary and contract driving employees
- Proactively sourcing new potential opportunities
- Achieve monthly/weekly sale KPIs
- Maintaining a strong candidate pipeline for proactive recruitment needs for the Company
- Ensuring your clients’ recruitment needs are being facilitated in the best possible ways
- Keeping up to date with current market trends within the recruitment and transport industry
- Keeping up to date with transport and driving regulations
- Manage transport advertising
- A proven track record in leading end to end recruitment cycles.
- Scheduling staff and shift rotas
- Working with high volume workloads
- Working with tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to deal with clients at all levels.
- The ability to work under pressure
- Being available 24/7 on emergency call for the division
- Manage and maintain an accurate client and employee database.
Qualification’s Skills and Experience
- Good levels of education
- Previous experience in transport or logistics scheduling
- Knowledge of driving regulations
- Computer literate
- Excellent marketing skills
- Previous experience of managing a recruitment desk would be an advantage
- Experience in managing staff
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to sell concepts and ideas
- Must have clean driving licence and access to own vehicle.
