As the Customer Development and Relationship Manager you will be someone who is enthusiastic about relationship management and able to negotiate and influence you will thrive in a target driven environment which is complex but extremely rewarding. As Customer Development & Relationship Manager, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionising the way we engage with our customers and bring new innovative ideas to the table.

You are an energetic, inquisitive problem solver who can act without being told what to do With the need for strategic thinking and the passion for transformation, you possess high integrity and are looking to move into a Relationship Management role in an ambitious business that will give you the opportunity to take full ownership of the companies strategic sales plan.

You are proactive, techsavvy, commercially switched on, able to identify new markets and opportunities whilst building trusted and committed relationships. You are clear on objectives, driven by results and use your time and resources wisely to get stuff done.

  • Take ownership of customer queries and concerns seeing the resolution through to a satisfactory end.
  • Own and adhere to the sales pipeline and forecasting processes
  • Deliver or exceed the Sales Budget
  • Support the efforts to ensure timely payment of invoices
  • Champion discovery and clearly articulate requirements to the business stakeholders
  • Be excited to get involved in the detail and enjoy working as part of a small dynamic team
  • Be motivated to be involved in the shaping and delivery of the long-term strategy
  • Be comfortable being predominantly field based with regular attendance at Head Office in Hastings.
  • A can do, confident, friendly, solutions driven approach
  • A successful track record in building lucrative commercial relationships
  • 5+ years experience in a Sales or Commercial Management role
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to sell into new markets
  • Experience in first class Account Management and objection handling
  • A head for numbers and a desire for accuracy
  • A high degree of self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as part of a small dynamic team
  • A natural curiosity and a willingness to teach and encourage
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
