Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic finance team, where you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial operations and guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures. Responsibilities of the Financial Controller
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial operations including accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Develop and implement financial strategies for the business.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements relating to finance.
- Provide strategic recommendations to enhance financial performance and new business opportunities.
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close process.
What the successful candidate will bring
- Fully Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.
