You will be required to attend the council's various sites throughout Hertfordshire county, supporting a number of traveller sites. You will have responsibility for the general housekeeping, up keep and maintenance of the buildings and grounds.

You must have an understanding of the building industry, with skills and experience of plumbing, decorating, and general maintenance. A full driving licence and vehicle with business insurance are essential for this role. The ideal candidate would have an electrician qualification and HGV license, however this is not essential.

Alongside your standard hours, you will be added to the on-call rota. Additional payment will be made for the occasions you are called out.

Please note that this role is subject to an enhanced DBS check, required for safeguarding purposes.

You will be required to attend an interview prior to being offered the job role.
