A leading Independent IT Infrastructure and Services Consultancy is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst for a period of 4 to 6 months, based in Hatfield (Hybrid - 2 days per week).Facilitating and leading workshops, to obtain and validate requirements and processes, making sure that they are aligned to the holistic goals. Having the ability to understand complex processes, identify the root causes and documenting these in a clear and concise manner.You will have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate at all levels. Brief overview of team:The Chief Technology Office Business Analyst Team work on strategic projects and innovations.We work with the Strategic Partners and Engagement Leads to explore and deliver in line with company, department and long-term goals.The CTO Business Analyst Team falls within the Group Information Services (GIS) and the Chief Technology Office (CTO) Team.Our CTO Team goals:Enable product and services growth, through reliable and innovative technology solutions.Provide relevant, secure, performant, and sustainable technology solutions that enable our delivery organisations and Customers.Develop strong and trusted relationships between business areas and Group IS - an aligned technology investment agenda.Knowledge & key skillsExperienced senior business analyst, delivering enhancements in medium to large companies.Highly motivated and organised with a systematic approach.Excellent time management and organisational skills; capable of managing multiple projects.Strong communication skills, able to interact with diverse and senior stakeholders and build good relationships quickly.Have an inquisitive mind and a friendly attitude.Able to see the bigger picture while understanding and managing complex requirements.Strong critical thinking skills; effectively translate business and technical requirements.Ability to piece together information from multiple sources, processes, and systems.Proficient in writing high-quality requirement documents, use cases, and clear process flows.Experience in designing business processes, perform requirements analysis and running workshops.Capable of driving and influencing others in both IS and business to meet deadlines.Developed best practice processes and procedures.Experience of developing best practice processes and procedures.Requirement Elicitation and DocumentationWorking with a range of stakeholders internally within Group IS and across the business to define high-level requirements, processes, user stories and identifying and pain points of existing processes.Responsible for requirement elicitation and validation on a variety of diverse, complex and high-profile engagements.Identifying and addressing the root causes leading to more sustainable and long-term improvements.Write high-quality requirement documents, use cases and produce clear process flow documents.Performing GAP AnalysisIdentifying opportunities and solutions that align to company objectives.Adopt best practices and frameworks supporting our strategic tools and standards.Utilizing a range of Tools and Methodologies.Working with the internal/external teams to review solutions and to hand over requirement specifications for the delivery phase.Comply with both internal and external standards such as security, legislation, and best practice.Stakeholder ManagementFoster collaboration and trust by providing clear communication consistency and reliable results.Cross-functional and cross-country team collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders.Strategic Alignment - keeping the future in mind.A high level of emotional intelligence, supporting stakeholders in making informed business decisions.
