Role Description
This is a full-time,for a Chartered Building Surveyor based in Hertfordshire. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to join a forward-thinking organization with a clear progression path to Director level.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Conducting building surveys for condition, acquisition, and statutory compliance
- Managing building maintenance and facilities management projects
- Overseeing energy and environmental management initiatives
- Leading project management responsibilities, including CDM Principal Designer & Client Agent roles
- Providing strategic advice on construction projects and building regulations
- Assisting in the development and implementation of asset management software solutions

Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in Building Surveying, covering condition, acquisition, and statutory compliance
- Strong knowledge of Building Maintenance and Facilities Management
- Familiarity with Energy and Environmental Management best practices
- Expertise in Project Management with experience in CDM Principal Designer & Client Agent roles
- Solid understanding of Building Regulations, Architecture, and Design projects
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Experience with asset management software is advantageous
- Chartered Surveyor (RICS) qualification is essential
